Museu d’Historia de Catalunya

True, authentic Catalan culture is at the Museu d’Història de Catalunya.
Designed to preserve, display and educate the history of Catalonia, the Museu d’Història de Catalunya is packed with artifacts and stories that will introduce you to a whole new culture.
The museum is an exciting journey into Catalonia’s past, through temporary exhibits, interactive opportunities, films and drawings designed to educate and inspire you. Ride a medieval horse, learn about Franco’s dictatorship or how cavemen shaped the area you’re in now.
The rooftop restaurant and bar are a highlight of the visit. Head up for a drink and you’ll have incredible views of Port Vell, the city and Montjuic, the hill that towers over Barcelona’s harbour.
