Considered one of the reference stations in the Cantabrian Mountains, the winter complex located in the municipality of Lena/L.lena has a long history behind it, which does not prevent it from looking to the future with optimism, improving its facilities, services and slopes year after year, in order to please its loyal clientele.
With more than 60 years of life behind it (it was inaugurated in 1954), the station Valgrande-Pajares is perfectly communicated with the most important population centers of Asturias and Léon. In the middle of the Cantabrian coast, under the hills of the mythical port of Pajares and in the shadow of Cueto Negro, El Cellón and Las Tres Marías, which are around 2,000 meters above sea level, the station from León is one of the oldest in Spain.
