Salinas de Santa Pola y Dunas de la Marina – Guardamar

The fascinating thing about birding is that you can visit an area a thousand times and it will always be different. The landscape is made up of the variety of birds that inhabit it, and they are in continuous movement. One of our favorite times to visit the Salinas de Santa Pola is undoubtedly spring, when the merriment of terns, great-billed gulls and little terns… invades everything. The beach and the shallow saline waters come together through one of the best-preserved dune ecosystems on the Levantine coast. From the sea observing the numerous wader birds or from the fauna observatories, we can enjoy a full day of Birding.
