Located on the Costa del Sol, Bioparc Fuengirola champions a new model for animal parks based on nature and the preservation of its species. Its facilities faithfully recreate some of the world’s most amazing tropical rainforests: Madagascar, equatorial Africa, Southeast Asia, the Indo-Pacific islands, and, as a new addition, the rainforests of Central and South America.
With its new expansion, Bioparc Fuengirola recreates the seas, rivers, coasts, and tropical rainforests of Central and South America. Visitors will be able to see the biodiversity of these ecosystems through saltwater aquariums, freshwater aquariums and estuaries, and a spectacular aviary where small primates and unique birds coexist. As a new feature, it will be possible to contemplate all this fauna and flora following in the footsteps of the explorers of the first circumnavigation of the world, begun by Ferdinand Magellan and completed by Juan Sebastián Elcano and the men of the ship Victoria.
