Girona Episcopal: Museu d’Art de Girona, Basílica de Sant Feliu y Catedral de Girona

Discover a unique historical and artistic complex in Catalonia. With the Girona Episcopal ticket you can visit three emblematic buildings in the city: the Basilica of Sant Feliu, the cathedral and the former Episcopal Palace, now the Museu d’Art de Girona.
GIRONA ART MUSEUM, IN THE OLD EPISCOPAL PALACE
Next to the Cathedral, located in the old Episcopal Palace, is the Girona Art Museum. Founded in 1976, it houses the third most important collection of Romanesque and Gothic art in Catalonia. You will discover unique works of Catalan art, from Romanesque to the present day.
SANT FÉLIU BASILICA
Continue your route by visiting the Basilica of Sant Félix, the former Cathedral of Girona. This temple was the first cathedral in Girona until the 10th century. Today it is one of the most representative Gothic buildings in the city due to its high bell tower, which dates back to the 14th and 16th centuries.
GIRONA CATHEDRAL OF SANTA MARIA
Just a few minutes walk from the Basilica of Sant Feliu you will find the Girona Cathedral, a symbol of the city that is more than 5 centuries old. Located at the highest point of the municipality, its single nave is the second largest in the world, only behind St. Peter’s in the Vatican. The 90 steps of the spectacular staircase will take you to the entrance door.
